Welcome Message from The Dean Faculty Of- Engineering & Technology

Welcome to the web portal of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Calabar, Nigeria located in the paradise city and prime tourists destination of Nigeria, Calabar. Our main objective is to train students to become world-class Engineers, who are equipped to provide quality Engineering services in the various fields of Engineering. The Faculty presently has seven departments. The Departments are Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.

The Departments in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology offer programs leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering.

The Faculty is walking in line with the vision of the University in helping to raise young stars, future leaders, and world best engineers in all fields of endeavors for a better tomorrow.

The Faculty also has highly motivated and well-groomed lecturers ranging from Professors, senior academic staff, and well-trained Technologists. The non-teaching staffs are also available to work hand in hand with the academic staff for a better and ready result. The students are groomed to tackle different challenges in the engineering field.

Our programs are fully enriched with good course outlines which are well packaged to prepare our students for the successful practice of their profession anywhere in the world. The programs are also to help the students achieve their full potentials and skills to the highest level. The programs are fully approved by the National Universities Commission.

The University will keep striving to provide the enabling environment and facilities to grow and run an outstanding Programme.
